Everytime a new version of a program is released, 3rd party books soon follow. However, when a program of the stature of Photoshop is released, the 3rd party books come in droves. Fortunately the books are as good as the program; here are some details on 6 different books. Note the title of this article, "Books for Photoshop and Photoshop 7." The reason is that at least one of these books has nothing to do with Photoshop 7, just using Photoshop in general, and all these books can help most people with whatever version of Photoshop they have. While not all the features described or detailed may be in earlier versions, these books can provide some level of assistance for earlier versions of Photoshop. Additionally, if a feature has moved location, by identifying that a feature has moved, it indirectly tells the reader where it was. All of these books come from New Riders Publishing. When you consider that New Riders is connected with NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals), it's not surprising that they are coming out with so many books so soon.
