If you do any kind of CD burning at all, there are no solid reasons why you shouldn't have a copy of Toast 6 Titanium now. The program is nearly flawless.

When I first received pxl SmartScale, I thought it was a fancy-dancy algorithm to create pixels when expanding the size of images. Boy was I wrong--it's much more than that. Some are likely to hail the advances of what pxl SmartScale can do while others just may not like it for the same reasons. Regardless how you may like the results, all Photoshop Users must appreciate what Extensis has created.

After a brief time for loading, you are taken to the game of your choice where you are presented with the rules and given the chance to deal the cards and start the game. At this point, a pair of hands deals each and every card which is pointless and makes you wait before you can start playing. Maybe this is supposed to add realism, but it's very annoying.

Equilibria and Chainz

Equilibria and Chainz are ultimately just variations on a theme. Luckily, it's a fun theme, and it's one with room to grow a bit more before it's completely overplayed. These games will never dominate your evenings, hopefully, but they're likely to stay on your computer longer than some other games you may purchase.

Aliens vs. Predator 2

Aliens vs. Predator 2 is a good game. It's the all-too-rare licensed concept that actually manages to capture the feel of the movie, rather than smoosh the movie into a game the designers had to make to get the product on the shelves at Wal-Mart before everyone realized it was crap.

iPassepartout and iSeek

Borrowing from my favorite George Harrison song, "Within you and Without You," is very appropriate here while reviewing these two information collecting programs. "Within" here applies to iPassepartout, a program that may very likely replace your use of the Finder's Find (Command-f). "Without" here applies to iSeek: a small program that places a search field in your menu bar letting you seek from any number of pre-configured web sites (and any other web sites you want to add).
