I pretty much live on the computer which is by design and I am not complaining since I really enjoy it. I have however, been frustrated my whole computing life by how slow computers performed and evolved :-((((

My dream has always been to have a computer that could keep up with me, which seems like it should have been possible, but it was simply not reality not even close. I also noticed, the faster computers became, the faster my skills became, which made me feel like a donkey chasing a carrot on a stick.....

With the advent of Apple's all-new 27 inch iMac my digital-life just got much, much, much better and easier!!!! Everything is very close to instantaneous on the all-new iMac, which makes it feel like the computer actually understands me or can read my mind!!!....

Steve Jobs unveiled Apple's much-anticipated new "aluminum and glass" iMac line on August 7, 2007 with the most recent update to the line released in October 2009.....

We had a chance to test the new 27" 3.06GHz iMac. First off, let's just get it out of the way and state that this is a large computer that arrives in a huge box, and it's pretty heavy. Ok, that said, our initial reaction is wow. What a display. In either the 27" model we tested or an available 21.5" display, these iMacs are the first to feature LED-backlit displays with a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio for HD. While some may not like the glossy external treatment, the new displays feature rich colors and are extremely sharp. We could get lost in them all day.....

Is there a more underappreciated part of your desktop computer system than the keyboard? It's the second-most-used component - after the display, of course - and yet many people are still using the keyboard that came with their Mac.

Apple is certainly working on some kind of device. Apple is always working on a new device - no big secret here. They are a consumer electronics maker. The question is how will they make something that goes beyond anything anyone else has?

One simple question: Will it be a netbook or a tablet? I think that a tablet makes the most sense. Because it has no keyboard, it will not be seen as competing for consumers who want a laptop. Let all the other dumb PC makers undercut their own laptop sales by marketing netbooks.

But what will it do that will make you buy it?.... How will it be better than the iPhone?....

Upon the release of Apple's update to Snow Leopard, Mac OS X 10.6.2, a noticeable lack of support for Intel's Atom processor was uncovered....

This problem, if you will, has been recently solved due to a new hack on the 10.6.2 update.....

The Camino Project has released a significant update to the Mac-focused, Gecko-based Web browser Camino. The latest version has been upgraded to version 1.9 of Mozilla's Gecko rendering engine, adds Growl support, improves full keyboard access in the browser window, enhances pop-up blocking, and heightens security with increased malware and phishing protection. The update also improves tabbed browsing by enabling users to rearrange tabs and providing a new tab overview feature....

Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) is offering U.S. college and graduate students a considerable discount if they purchase Office for Mac Business Edition.

According to the company's Mactopia Web page, students can get a 70 percent discount on the suite of applications.....

This seems somewhat strange to us: Apple is allegedly refusing to honour warranties on Macs belonging to smokers, voiding warranties while arguing that smoking near a Mac exposes the tech support worker to secondhand smoke....
