The Very Cool Software Company - home of the Dbreq iStylophone - has developed the iStylophone specifically for the Apple iPhone & iPod Touch operating platforms, and is a faithful reproduction of the original Stylophone electronic musical instrument.

Invented in 1968 by Brian Jarvis, and manufactured in the UK, the Stylophone is known as "the original pocket electronic organ". It is in fact an innovative, hand-held, monophonic synthesizer, whose iconic design enjoyed major success, and sold by the millions in the early 1970s.
