Aspyr Media, Inc. has announced they will publish Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII for Macintosh. The title, licensed by EA Games and developed by Digital Illusions (DICE), lets you control the most bizarre and lethal top-secret weapons of the Second World War.

Under development at Aspyr Studios, this expansion pack to Battlefield 1942 brings experimental weapons out of the lab and into the field and introduces eight tough, new battle maps. Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII is expected to ship in October, and more information is coming soon to the Aspyr website.
