Net Applications Posts OS and Browser Market Share Metrics For April

Net Applications' Operating System Market Share for April, 2008 shows Windows (all versions) still with more than nine-tenths of the OS market at 91.99%, the Mac up to 7.01% (plus another 0.14% for the iPhone for a total share of 7.15%), and Linux third at 0.67%.
Actually, the iPhone in its own right is now the fourth-place operating system overall.

Net Applications' Browser Market Share stats. for April, 2008 show the share of all users using any combination of operating system
Microsoft Internet Explorer still dominates, although a lot less than it used to, at a 76.02% share, while Firefox is holding its own at 16.96%, and Safari continues to gain ground, now at 5.51%. No other browser on any platform breaks even a one percent share, with Opera in a distant fourth place at 0.65%.
