CalendarMenu is an extremely simple replacement for Apple's time display in the menu bar. It features a fully customizable display format, as well as a calendar in a pop-up menu. It doesn't do much, but it does it well, and is free.

TeXTable has been released under the GPL. You can download the source tarball in the Additional Files section, on the right-hand side of the page.
