Final Vinyl is a free audio recording software. Final Vinyl makes recording your old records and tapes super easy. It has several advanced features including waveform based editing and built-in 10-band EQ.
New in version 2.5.1
- Fixed a problem that prevented the effects list from working properly under Mac OS X 10.4. Fixed a problem where interrupting Save could cause Final Vinyl to crash. Fixed a problem where closing the window while the waveform was being rebuilt could cause Final Vinyl to crash. Version 2.5:
- Updated and improved user interface.
- New VocalReducer effect.
- Supports opening multiple simultaneous audio files. Normalize now uses a user-defined value. Play repeats within a selection.
- New preset colour options.
- Saving of individual tracks via right/control-click. Marks can be repositioned via its handle. The range of an effect applied to a selection can be modified via its handles. The waveform no longer needs to be rebuilt after multiple undo/redos. Drag and drop of supported audio files.
- Expanded level meters.
- No longer requires a Griffin audio device to be connected.
