“The app lets me share what it’s really like to go on tour, from standing in front of 20,000 screaming fans to playing video games backstage after a long day,” said Cook. “This tour is going to take me to some wild places, and I am pumped to supercharge my fan interaction by using the Apple App Store.”
“Now more than ever, fans want to connect with their favorite artists and celebrities in a more personal way to get a glimpse into their lives on and off stage,” said Adam Zbar, CEO of Zannel. “With Zannel’s industry-changing app for iPhone and iPod touch, artists are now able to directly interact with their fans and share their experiences in real time. We’re excited to launch with a major talent like Dane Cook, and look forward to announcing additional partnerships with top artists going on tour this summer.”
To complement Cook’s exclusive multi-media updates, iPhone and iPod touch users will be able to follow the progress of Dane’s tour on an interactive map, talk with Dane & other fans about what’s going on, get real-time tour venue information, download exclusive wallpapers for the phone, listen to Dane’s tracks with an option to buy in iTunes, purchase tickets and merchandise, set-up 411 alerts, and more.
On April 25, to kick off his “ISolated INcident - Global Thermo Comedy Tour,” Cook will begin providing updates to the app from all over the world, giving fans an in-depth look into his life backstage, on the road, and in private moments. Dane’s headline tour is billed as the largest comedy tour in history, with stops scheduled in the US and Canada, along with future appearances in Africa, Brazil, Australia, UK, Germany and Iraq, performing for the U.S. Military.
The app is available for $2.99 from Apple’s App Store on iPhone or iPod touch or at:

Dane Cook is a relevant film and television actor as well, with starring roles in the past few years opposite Kevin Costner and Demi Moore (Mr. Brooks), Jessica Biel (London), Steve Carell (Dan in Real Life), Jessica Alba (Good Luck Chuck), and Kate Hudson (My Best Friend’s Girl). Through it all, Cook remains one of the most brilliant comedic minds today, and is known as the only comedian to sell out two shows in one night at both Boston’s TD Banknorth Garden and New York’s Madison Square Garden—twice.
Today’s announcement represents a milestone as he becomes the first comedian to attempt to document an international comedy tour through an application available at the Apple App Store.
