Instant PDF uses Enfocus PDF Queues to guide the entire PDF creation process. Enfocus PDF Queues published on CertifiedPDF.net by printers, publishers, industry associations, and Enfocus can be directly imported from within Instant PDF. The built-in synchronisation feature with CertifiedPDF.net guarantees imported PDF Queues remain up-to-date, ensuring ongoing consistency with your printer, publisher or industry association specification.
Once imported, PDF Queues become accessible through the "Save as Certified PDF" file menu functionality from within industry leading page layout and PDF tools such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress , Adobe Acrobat and through the PDF Services feature in the Mac OS X print dialogue. Creative professionals remain productive in their familiar environment without having to worry about print styles, PDF export and other PDF creation settings. XChange International announce Update of BarcodeMaker for InDesign CS3 with new features and barcodes
XChange International, the source for extended technology worldwide, are pleased to announce the release of an update to the BarcodeMaker plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS3. The easy-to-use plug-in now lets users print their barcodes in CMYK process and spot colours. Now users who are printing an entire book cover using a single CMYK spot colour can utilise BarcodeMaker for their book designs.
Five new barcodes have also been added to BarcodeMaker, bringing the total number of barcodes supported to 27. Support for Australia's postal barcode, AusPost, support for GS1 DataBar and GS1 DataBar Limited (formerly known as RSS-14 and RSS Limited) and support for a barcode used by the pharmaceutical industry called PharmaCode are part of the update as well.
The new version of BarcodeMaker now offers new text placement and justification features. Want your text to appear above your barcode, right justified? Before, if users wanted their text to appear above their barcode, they would have to make their own text frame and place it manually. Now, with just a few clicks on the palette, their text is right where they want it to be.
The 27 barcode patterns now supported by BarcodeMaker include: AusPost, Code 2 of 5, 11, 39, 93, 128 and UCC-EAN-128, EAN-2, EAN-5, EAN-8, EAN-13, FIM, GS1 DataBar, GS1 DataBar Limited, ISBN (10 and 13), ISSN, Interleaved 2 of 5 and ITF-14, KIX, MSI, USPS OneCode, PharmaCode, Plessey, USPS Postnet, Rationalized Codabar, RoyalMail UPC-A, and UPC-E. The latest version still retains all of its original features, such as adding numbers, changing fonts and font size, controlling barcode heights, and including or excluding checksum digits.
For current users of BarcodeMaker for CS3, the update is free. Existing CS and CS2 users will need to upgrade to the CS3 version to get these new features.
