Ambrosia Software, Inc. has announced the release of WireTap Studio 1.0.5. This updated version, which is free to all registered users of WireTap Studio 1.0.x, provides custom genre tag support, improved iPhone export support, along with many other fixes and enhancements.

WireTap Studio is an award-winning audio recording and management solution which will allow you to manipulate and manage your audio like never before. Record the discrete audio output of any application, as well as all Mac system audio, or even record audio input from any microphone, line-in, or audio input hardware.

Once you have recorded audio, WireTap Studio's audio editor allows you to edit completely lossless and fool-proof. WireTap Studio works with Mac OS X Tiger 10.4 and Leopard 10.5, and a free trial can be downloaded here. WireTap Studio costs $69, is a Universal Binary, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
