Widget Manager is the original, free preference pane that lets you manage Widgets under Mac OSX 10.4. With Widget Manager you can inspect, remove and disable any Dashboard Widgets, including the default Apple Widgets.
Widget Manager shows all the information you can't easily get through Dashboard, such as the version number and where it's installed. With one click you can easily remove Widgets you no longer want on your system, or just disable them so they no longer appear in Dashboard. Widget Manager has all the attention to detail you've come to expect from great Mac OSX applications, such as drag-and-drop installs.

Amnesty Generator is a free utility that converts any Google webpage gadget into a Dashboard widget.
Double the size of your widget universe.
Using Google's new Add to your webpage feature, select a webpage gadget, copy and paste its HTML code directly into the Amnesty Generator window, tweak some settings (if you wish) and generate a new widget with the click of a button. Virtual Dashboard 1.1.1
With the release of Apple Macintosh OS X10.4, Apple released the Dashboard. The Dashboard allows you to use mini applications called widgets. These widgets allow you to see information such as the date and time, or the running value of stocks that the user can setup. They also can be games or just about anything that developers can come up with. The Dashboard makes it very handy to easily access these widgets and the type of data or information that the user wants to look at. There are literally thousands of these widgets that have been developed and can be downloaded from various sites.
The problem with the Dashboard is that the number of widgets that can viewed on the screen at one time is limited to the amount of viewable screen space that the user has. To solve this, Virtual Dashboard was created. With Virtual Dashboard, users can create widget sets that can be switched in and out either through a menu or keyboard shortcuts. This allows users to create different sets and add or remove the widgets that they want to see. Virtual Dashboard allows the user to create as many sets as they desire. Users could literally have access to hundreds, if not thousands of widgets right at their fingertips

cloud.lic.io.us is a Dashboard widget that displays a cloud of your del.icio.us tags. Once you've configured the widget with your delicious username and password, it will retrieve all your tags and arrange them in the cloud. The cloud increases the visibility of your most popular tags by growing their font size and darkening their color. Clicking on a tag opens a side slider that contains all the links associated with that tag. Clicking on the link, in the slider, auto-magically opens your browser to that web-page.
The widget can be configured to sort by popularity or alphabetically, display a number count of tag usage, limit the minimum tag count for display, three different "base" font sizes, and version checking that can be completely disabled.
New in version 0.6c:
Another minor update. I wasn't correctly escaping XML data for the delicious API. Implemented some code to properly translate what you see in the widget, the tags, to what gets sent to the delicious API. If you have tags that make use of +, &, , or " you've probably experienced the empty side-slider problem… hopefully no longer.

Deep Sleep 0.7
An hibernation Dashboard widget for Mac OS X 10.4.3 and above
Deep Sleep is a simple Dashboard widget which allows users to put their computer into hibernation mode, also sometimes called software suspend mode. This widget only works on a limited number of Apple computer models.
The default behavior of Mac OS X is to put sleeping computers in 'hardware suspend' mode, during which the RAM is still powered on. This widget allows the computer to enter 'software suspend' mode. Software suspend is a feature similar to what windows call 'hibernation': the computer consumes no power while sleeping, however the wake up process takes more time to complete.
Hibernation is made possible by the Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3 update. This operating system version is required.
Only the computers with 'safe sleep' feature are officially supported. For now, the only computers with this feature are the Powerbook 'HD' line of Apple laptops. Please read the included documentation for more information, including the possibilty to use this widget on unsupported computers.

Degrees Down Under Widget 1.1
Accurate Australian temperatures, straight from the Bureau of Meteorology.
The DDU Widget displays the current temperature for locations around Australia, using data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology website. Common features include:
1. choice of actual or apparent temperature display
2. links to detailed observations on the Bureau's website.
3. instant indication of temperature via varying colour.
Apparent temperature has only recently become available on the Bureau's website, and is a new feature in the latest versions of this software.
These versions also accommodate other changes to the Bureau's website, which are expected to prevent earlier versions from working.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version, you will need to re-select your chosen weather station.
This widget is a Dashboard version of the Mac OS X application Degrees Down Under.
There are other weather applications and widgets around, many more powerful, but they don't give the same information. By using data from the Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology, Degrees Down Under and the DDU Widget present high-quality Australian data.

Hardware Monitor Widget Edition 1.95
Hardware Monitor Widget Edition is the Dashboard version of its "bigger brother" Hardware Monitor. You need a working registered copy of Hardware Monitor in order to fully use this widget. The applications are designed to give you access to all sensor readings Mac OS X uses to monitor and cool your computer.
The widget allows you to select two of your computer's sensors which should be displayed via Dashboard.
Unlike other widgets, Hardware Monitor is capable of processing the hardware calibration data Apple stores individually into each G5-based computer. So it displays the exact readings Mac OS X internally uses for cooling control, not just an "educated guess".

Ubertragen 1.1
Ubertragen lets you transfer files via FTP to an FTP-Server or via Bonjour to another machine running Ubertragen on your local network.
The biggest advantage of this widget over all other widgets to transfer files (well, at least the ones we’ve seen) is that Ãœbertragen doesn’t require an instance of the widget per target/server but that one instance of the widget handles all possible targets. No more cluttered Dashboards just because you transfer files to more than one server.
Directory structures are being maintained, "dot files" (except for .htaccess) are being ignored and your password is not stored in plain text anywhere but the widget uses your Keychain.

• "Spring Loaded Folders" allow you to transfer files to subdirectories of any of your accounts
• "Automatic compression" lets the widget decide whether compression is useful for a Bonjour transfer or not, you don't have to worry about this anymore
