MultiDash 3.0 - Your Dashboard Experience Will Never Be The Same
MultiDash allows you to create different Dashboard workspaces and easily switch between them. Widgets can be arranged any way that you please, and you can call your custom workspace anything you wish. And of course, MultiDash can hold an unlimited amount of workspaces.
MultiDash 3.0 now takes a screenshot of your workspace exactly how you customize it, so you'll never forget which widgets were on which workspace. And fear not, the screenshot will always remain in proportion, no matter your screen resolution.
Now with MultiDash 3.0 you can change the order of how you want your workspace to appear on the drop down select menu. It gets better: you can rearrange your workspaces by drag and drop. Watch as they snap into place. It's so simple.
A problem that plagued previous versions of MultiDash was that it was overly complicated to use. MultiDash 3.0 solves that problem without sacrificing its beauty. How do you edit a workspace? Double click. Rearrange? Drag and drop. Delete? Hit the delete key. Even if you run into trouble, there is a built in help menu.
Before, it was impossible to tell what the current workspace was if you didn't have a good memory. Kiss that problem goodbye! In the select menu, the current workspace is tagged "(Current)", so you'll never need to remember.
MultiDash 3.0 now sports the prototype library and script.aculo.us effects, providing a great user experience. Good looks come together with functionality: MultiDash shakes, slides, highlights, puffs, drops, and pulses based on actions by the user to provide feedback of a completed function.
MultiDash 3.0 is proud to be clutter free. Room to breathe.
MultiDash 3.0 was built from scratch. Code from previous versions were dumped and I started anew. Using only Photoshop and BBEdit, (no Dreamweaver, GoLive, or DashCode) MultiDash 3.0 promises freshness. Also it is important to note that the engine behind MultiDash 3.0 is written in only Javascript; no plugins are used.
New in version 3.0:
Takes screenshots of your workspaces
Drag and drop support for workspace rearrangement
Much more intuitive design
Current workspace tag lets you know where you are
Script.aculo.us effects built in
Recoded from the ground up

Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Amnesty Singles 1.0.1
Amnesty Singles is a drag-and-drop-utility that converts any Dashboard widget into a standalone application for Mac OS X Tiger and Panther (10.3.9).
Simply drop a widget file onto the Amnesty Singles window, click a button, and out pops a small OS X application that will open an instance of the widget outside of Dashboard when launched. Applications built with Amnesty Singles also include features important for running a widget continuously outside Dashboard such as adjusting the window level (desktop, standard or floating) and setting an "auto refresh" timer (for widgets that are designed to refresh only when Dashboard is shown).
Amnesty Singles is perfect for users who don't want widgets running continuously in Dashboard or Amnesty Widget Browser but would rather launch and control widgets just like other OS X applications. And yes Intel Mac owners, widget applications are built as Universal (although your widgets may not be, so it's best to check first).
New in version 1.0.1
Added French, Danish, Portuguese and Chinese Traditional localizations.
System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
System support:
PPC/Intel

MailWidget 1.5
MailWidget checks your email account every time Dashboard is activated without having Apple Mail running all the time. So far there is nothing special but, unlike other widgets, MailWidget knows which email was received by Apple Mail. That´s especially helpful for those who don´t delete their old mail from the mail server immediately in order to be able to read their last mail on travels via webmail.
Other widgets might say something like "there are 88 messages on the mail server" but only MailWidget will tell if there are new emails that hadn´t already been received by Apple Mail.
New in version 1.5:
Improved IMAP server checking (thanks to Daniel Brown)
MailWidget no longer spams the console.log when it has no connection to the server
And a few minor changes
System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4 or later,
Apple Mail 2 or later.
System support:
PPC/Intel
