The Piano Theory Widget (created for BandAMP.com) allows you to play piano on your Dahboard using a standard qwerty keyboard as the interface! It includes interactive chord and scale charts, which makes it much easier to learn piano

About Konfabulator (formerly known as Yahoo! Widget Engine, formerly known as Konfabulator)
Konfabulator is the developer platform (or "supporting software") that runs Yahoo! Widgets. This is the first, baddest, most extensible desktop Widgets platform around, and we're pleased to officially announce that we're bringing back the Konfabulator name. But what's with the name shenanigans?
A page from Marketing 101... don't argue with your best customers. Our loyal (and vociferous!) Widget authors let us know that they really missed the Konfabulator name when, in December 2005, we renamed it to the more plainly descriptive and consumer-friendly "Yahoo! Widget Engine." We realized, however, that the platform really is a brand for developers. Thus, we listened and we re-renamed.
Konfabulator is a JavaScript runtime engine for Windows and Mac OS X that lets you run little files called Widgets that can do pretty much whatever you want them to. Widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, can tell you your WiFi signal strength, will fetch the latest stock quotes for your preferred symbols, and even give your current local weather.
What sets Konfabulator apart from other scripting applications is that it takes full advantage of today's advanced graphics. This allows Widgets to blend fluidly into your desktop without the constraints of traditional window borders. Toss in some sliding and fading, and these little guys are right at home in Windows and Mac OS X.
The format for these Widgets is completely open and easy to learn so creating your own Widgets is an extremely easy task.

WidgDock is a free and fully customizable dock.
You can drag and drop as many documents, applications or folders as you want.
You can click to launch an application directly, or drag and drop files on it to open them.
You can open browse the content of folders by using the convenient menus.
