Announcing Logos Bible Widget for Mac
Logos Research Systems has released the Logos Bible Widget for Mac users. This helpful tool enables the user to look up any Bible verse instantly. Simply type or cut and paste any scripture into the Logos Bible Widget and the entire verse will appear.
The main purpose for the widget is to provide Mac users with a speedy alternative to grabbing a Bible off the shelf or going to Bible Gateway to conduct a search there. The best part is that it's free!

Tigergotchi, watch over your tiger friend...
Tigergotchi is a virtual dashboard tiger, which is in need for some water, food and love. When you provide your tiger with enough of those ingredients, he will be happy and last a long time on your dashboard. The image of the tiger will change with his degree of hapiness: waving his tail and blinking his eyes when he is happy, but when hungry or thirsty his ribs will show up and he will start putting his tongue out.
Controls
The back of the widget provides some control buttons. These include:
• Sound. Turn sound effects on and off.
• Speed. Control the speed of life by pushing the + and - buttons. You can also control the speed when the front of the widget is shown with the + and - keys.
• LIFE! You can reset the Tigergotchi by clicking on the Apple icon on the front.
We had a serious problem with CPU usage in our original 1.0 version of Tigergotchi. We have fixed this problem in the 1.0.1 version, and made further improvements in version 1.1, it should not use more than 0.1% CPU power when dashboard is not visible.
New in version 1.1.3:
• reduced the default speed 100x so that your tiger survives longer and we save more precious animals. Also your tiger goes into a wintersleep while your mac is shut down, reducing its needs for water, food and love

The widget displays the current Universal Time, the Local Sidereal Time, the current Julian Date and the current Modified Julian Date. Since the Local Sidereal Time depends on the longitude, a list of some important astronomical observatories is provided on the back.
