Google Calendar Dashboard Widget 2.0 for Mac OS X

Google Calendar on your Dashboard!

Keep an eye on today's events on your desktop. With this dashboard widget, you don't need to logon to Google Calendar in a dedicated browser window. Clicking on an event takes you directly to the event in Google Calendar, ready for you to edit.

New in version 2.0:
1. There were some problems handling time-zones in version 1.0 for some users. These issues have been (hopefully!) fixed in version 2.0
2. A highly-requested feature was to be able to look-ahead several days into the future, not just today and tomorrow's events. Version 2.0 lets you preview up to one week ahead of today.
3. The top part of the widget now features a button that takes you to Google Calendar in a browser. Trivial, yet highly useful, feature.

System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

System Support:
PPC/Intel

Free

GTD widget for iCal

ConceptDraw Lab product.

It is Mac OS X dashboard widget that partially implements Getting Things Done methodology. It allows you instantly get all the stuff out of your head into selected Inbox in iCal and view your Next Actions without launching iCal.

Widget corresponds to GTD stages like following:

2. Process.
You can do it in iCal at any manner or use any GTD software compatible with iCal.

3. Organize.
Same as at stage 2.

4. Review.
Same as at stage 2 and 3.

5. Do
To help you navigate at this stage widget shows Next Events list which includes all actions and events you’ve scheduled for today.

Fire Widget 0.1 FTP

Fire is a drag&drop FTP upload widget. It has a nice interface and runs nicely. So say hello to Fire. Just drop a file, the gate slides up, the file gets transfered, and you are done. With Fire, you can:
• Upload files to FTP servers
• Open the uploaded files in your bowser
• Copy the files' URLs into your pasteboard
• Save servers and the servers' path, password and username

You can use Fire perfectly for:

• Fast uploading of files to your server, because no FTP client starts up as fast as Fire does.
• Replacing std uploading services like rapidshare
• Using instead of IM transfers

Currently Fire is in beta phase. Many bugs are fixed but there may be some left.

System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

System Support:
PPC/Intel

Free

Metronomic 0.32 Metronome Widget

This version(0.3) is the first public release.

Metronomic is a widget for Dashboard OS X. It's a simple metronome that helps you count beats. For those who are unfamiliar of what a metronome is, it is a device that comes in both analog and digital forms, where it counts beats and emits a sound to help musicians keep their rhythm constant.

I haven't really been an avid Mac proponent. I've only been a Mac user since I got my MacBook Pro back in June, but I have to say it's a satisfying feeling being able to easily create software for Dashboard which is a very powerful interface, but amplified by what you can use it for.

New in version 0.32:
• Added different sound for first beat
• Removed Analog visualization

System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

System Support:
PPC/Intel

Free
