Mighty Monitor is a Dashboard Widget for Mac OS X that displays the battery status for the Apple Wireless Keyboard and the Wireless Mighty Mouse. I kept hoping someone would develop something like this, and alas I got tired of waiting. This works on my system -- it may not on yours.
MightyMonitor currently only supports the Apple Wireless Keyboard and the Wireless Mighty Mouse. The older bluetooth mouse from apple (non mighty) actually interferes with how the widget currently works. I am working on a fix for that, but currently the widget cannot tell the difference between the apple wireless keyboard and the old-style apple wireless mouse.

MailWidget 2.0.6
MailWidget checks your email account every time Dashboard is activated — without having Apple Mail running all the time. So far there is nothing special but, unlike other widgets, MailWidget knows which email was received by Apple Mail. Thats especially helpful for those who dont delete their old mail from the mail server immediately in order to be able to read their last mail on travels via webmail.
Other widgets might say something like "there are 88 messages on the mail server" but only MailWidget will tell if there are new emails that hadnt already been received by Apple Mail.

Widget-to-Desktop 3.0
Widget-to-Desktop is an Automator action that allows you to run Dashboard widgets right on your desktop. Once installed, you move a widget around in Dashboard and hold the F12 key. It will spawn it on your desktop.
You can actually do this with some tricky key combination within Dashboard, but this makes it simple.

WordGuise 4.0 Universal
WordGuise is a REALbasic plugin that defines a text editor widget for windows and macintosh. It is also an RTF control, supporting most if not all of the gadgets an RTF document provides and it allows embedding of picture objects in the text. The WordGuise widget also provides support for Waste documents, because it sits on top of the well known Waste library. On windows wordguise exploits RichEdit and implements interfaces allowing picture embedding.
The WordGuise class inherits from a WordGuiseContainer control. The plugin allows creation of a WordGuise instance in code (on-the-fly), in addition to a default RB behavior, i.e., WordGuise is a typical control. An instance can be created by dragging the WordGuiseContainer on the window and then setting the super to WordGuise. Embedding can be done in a window, a panel or a RectControl of your choice. WordGuise can also be modified to act as a StaticText field, while you can set it to have focus, enable drag and drop or select its caption. WordGuise on the Mac can be extended to WordGuiseEx. This will allow usage of the new Waste 3.0 engine in MacOSX/Mach-O. When using WordGuiseEx, make sure to remove WordGuise plugin from the Plugins folder at the root of the REALbasic application, and vice versa, when using
WordGuise do not put WordGuiseEx in the Plugins folder. WordGuiseEx has a different dylib (Mach-O) but otherwise is identical to WordGuise when it comes to MacOS PEF (OSX,classic) and Windows. Note that the WordGuise package comes with sample projects, while the WordGuiseEx package only contains the plugin. Further, if you purchase WordGuiseEx, you will need a license for WordGuise (which also includes all other plugins listed on this site) as well.
