What If Widgets Releases earbud Jack

2050 earbud JACK is a neat freak. He cringes at the sight of tangled cords, so he carries your earbuds to keep them untangled and working well.

JACK carries your earbuds
- Throw the earbuds over his shoulders
- Pull the cord under his foot
- Wrap the rest around his head & feet
- Place the plug in his hand

JACK likes to hang out.
He'll grip your earbud cord to hang out while you're listening to tunes.
JACK cares, so 5% of his proceeds go to hearing health organizations.

JACK's got it all wrapped up

What if a company could create fun products that help people?

What if those products could help charitable organizations?

These questions stem from the belief that a business is not just a tool for making money, but rather a company can be a thriving part of a community, and can impact many people's lives, whether they are customers, employees, partners, or even unknowing members of the community at large. This philosophy creates the heart and soul of What If Widgets. Strengthening that foundation are deep-rooted values of balance, the power of need-focused innovation, and integrated design, which combine to form the company's mission: strive to improve peoples' lives by solving everyday problems with clever and fun products.

What If Widgets is the dream of San Francisco designer and entrepreneur, Mike Simmons. Having started his career with a degree in Product Design Engineering from Stanford University, Mike has over 10 years experience in product development helping to design award-winning products for consumer electronics companies such as Apple, Danger, HP, Motorola, and SanDisk. Most recently, Mike ran the indpendent consulting firm, i Consulting, for nearly 5 years. There, he wrote business plans for startups and helped companies innovate with new products and services. Mike aslo holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management, and he resides in San Francisco with his wife, Diana and son, Logan.
