Video reviews Of All iPod Games Now Available

255
The Digital Lifestyle today launched a new page featuring quick (one minute or less) independent video reviews of all of the currently available iPod games from the iTunes music store.

"Since most of the games are short, we didn't want to make ten minute reviews," said Ryan Ritchey, the site's founder. "It was interesting to see the difference in the quality of the games. Some are great, and some are downright awful."

Additionally, the site has created a blog entry sorting the games into groups: great, good, ok, poor, and awful. Ritchey said the worst iPod game fortunately, is no longer available.

"The 'Lost' game (based on the TV series) was just dreadful. Essentially, there's an arrow on the screen, and you walk in the direction of the arrow, then do a lot of reading," Ritchey said.

The reviews mark a branching out into portable gaming for the site. Ritchey said The Digital Lifestyle will also review as many iPhone games and applications as possible.

"We want to be the biggest site of Apple-related video, and reviewing these games is a key part of that", Ritchey said. "We're really excited to hear from iPhone developers, and review their products as well."

The site also features "TDL Live," a weekly live Apple news and rumors show (Monday 9PM ET), and Root Access, an Apple tech help show hosted by former Mac Genius Jamie DeGrazio. The new reviews are available at their website.
