799 prMac - fgrab is a screen movie capture utility. Under the hood fgrab has a highly sophisticated capture engine.

fgrab is not only the fastest screen movie capture utility (70 % faster than Snapz Pro X 2, whether you compare it on PowerPC or Intel), with the new .fvf screen movie format there is no longer an export procedure necessary after you captured the screen. .fvf clips can be played back immediately or added to FastCut movie projects for further processing. fgrab is bundled with FastCut - the full-featured real-time video editor from the same developer.

fgrab is still BETA. Currently it does not work with the Intel GMA 950 chip (in MacBook and Mac mini).
