Thinking Home 2.0b18 X-10 Home Automation Software

1248 Thinking Home is a X-10 home automation that can be used to control the lamps and appliances in your home via a schedule, voice commands, AppleScript or even the web. It works with the most popular X-10 hardware and many specialty items as well.

Complete documentation is included. The software will run as a demo until you enter your registration number. While operating as a demo, the application will not save documents, nor will it store events and macros into an interface. Other than that, the demo mode is fully featured. You will receive your registration number when you place your order.

New in version 2.0:
• No longer uses separate documents like it did in the past. It can operate more like Apple's iCal so that device info is always available, whether or not Thinking Home is running. This is useful for web support, Desktop Remote and other components. You can set this by checking the "Enable 24/7 operation" checkbox in the Preferences.

System requirements:
Requires Mac OS 9 or X. To run on Mac OS X, you will need a USB serial adapter that has driver support. Any Keyspan model will work. Approximately 7 MB of disk space is needed.

Thinking Home 1.1.2 is still available for older models.
System 7.0 - MacOS 8.6 or later.
Power Macintosh, iMac, G3 or Macintosh w/ 68040 CPU.
Version 1.1.2 will even run on most 68K models with CPU's prior to 68040. Please feel free to try it with any model and, if it doesn't work to your satisfaction, we will gladly give you a full refund, including any shipping.
