The Tete-a-tete Between A Mac And Mobile Phone Just Got a Lot Hotter / Adds SMS management

1043 FoneLink is the perfect têtê-à-têtê between a Mac and mobile phone, offering a range of features from contact and calendar management, media and file transfer, iTunes playlist synchronization, ringtone creation up to backup and restore functions.

Beginning of November, FoneLink will integrate a full-fledged SMS manager to send, receive, answer, forward and archive SMS messages the Macintosh way. FoneLink will support multipart as well as group SMS, messages can be stored in user-defined folders. A search field offers to find messages quickly by name or by content.

FoneLink SMS is linked to the Address Book database. If the recepient is stored in the Address Book, it is sufficient to enter a part of the name and the contact will be added to list automatically. Incoming messages will display the Address Book picture of the contact, if available.

"With the SMS manager included, we will raise the price by 8,40 Euro plus VAT.", states Jan Fuellemann, PR spokesperson at nova media. "But we do have a grace period. Everyone who buys FoneLink until the end of October 2007 will pay the old price and get the SMS manager update for free. As well as all other updates for one year beginning with the date of purchase. We expect the SMS manager update to be available beginning of November."
