Easy Card Creator
Create greeting cards this holiday season with Easy Card Creator for Mac OS X. Its simple to use your own digital pictures to create attractive and personal cards. Easy Card can also create envelopes that can be printed out, cut and folded and hold the cards perfectly for mailing. If there is no time to mail a card then email a card directly from within Easy Card Creator which is very handy for those last minute emergency cards.
Easy Card Creator works like other vector based image editing software such as AppleWorks or Illustrator. Meaning if you know how to drag & drop, you can create a greeting card. Just drag out the object you want from palette on the left drop it onto the page, the rest is controlled from the properties palette. Templates for cards can also be created to assist others to make cards even faster.
When it comes to making greetings cards, you can choose to use one of the carefully selected templates that are available from Script Software, a template of your own or you can create a greeting from scratch. If you choose to create a greeting card from scratch you can use your own graphics that you have created on your computer, photographs that you have taken with a digital camera, pictures scanned in to your computer or download pictures from Script Software right from within easy card, using the "Get Picture" option. When you have a picture you can then apply a series of effects to that picture, including but not limited to rotation, inverse and grayscale. Writing the message is just as easy. Choose from a selection of pre-written messages or compose your own. Spice up your messages by using the standard bold, italic, underline and easy card's shadow, outline or caption. Change the color and choose the font using a font selector that shows what the font looks like before using it.
