1619 This widget can be used to connect to the SunPosition database and return calculations for: Sunrise, Sunset, Civil Dawn, Civil Dusk, Sunrise azimuth, Sunset azimuth, Latitude, Longitude and Magnetic declination for the selected location. The SunPosition widget will plot the suns path at 15 minute intervals for the selected date and location. Members can access the data printout page for that current selection directly from the widget. Azimuth, altitude calculations follow the sun through it's path.

This widget is for the Macintosh OSX Dashboard in OS10.4 and above, this widget is not for Windows OS's.

Members can use this menu to access entries saved to their favourites list, favorites additions and deletions can be made from this menu. This menu integrates directly with the users SunPosition account, favorites added to the menu list from the widget will be available on the SunPosition web page calculator favorites menu for that member account when the user is logged in, deletions made from the widget will also be deleted from the users main account. The widget favourites menu will be synced with the members account when a user login is made from the widget and when making an addition or deletion from the widget favorites menu, so if a member makes alterations to their favorites menu from the SunPosition web page, the widget favourites menu will not be synced until the user add's or deletes an entry from the widget favorites menu. This menu is a member only option.

The widget is free to everyone, although members of the SunPosition service get full access to all 48,054 location entries while non members have limited access to approximately 8,000 locations. Sign-up to SunPosition.
