SubRosaSoft CipherDisk 2.0 Driver Level On-the-fly Encryption [OS 10.2 up]

CipherDisk is a tool to hide, encrypt, and password protect your hard disks, CD's, DVD’s and other types of storage. If you select a volume then click "Convert", it will encrypt/encipher all of the data on your chosen disk using highly secure encryption, and make it invisible until you enter your password.

Without your password, nobody can access your encrypted disk no matter what tools they use, or who they are. The only difference you will see in your disks is a password will be required to mount them (make them appear on your desktop). If you shut down the computer or put it into sleep mode, the encrypted disks are automatically hidden and made inaccessible until you launch CipherDisk and enter your password.

CipherDisk encryption methods were developed by publicly recognized world leading cryptography experts. It is secure enough to stop anyone from being able to access your data, making this tool suitable for anyone, from the home user wanting to keep a diary secret, to professionals wanting to ensure that their data will be kept private no matter what happens.

Because the encryption is volume based, no information about what is on your disks can be obtained. From your filenames down to what kind of documents your disks contain, it is all unknown without your password when CipherDisk is used.

New in this version:
• Support for CD/DVD - CipherDisk can now create and burn password protected CDs and DVDs without the use of third party applications. These disks are fully encrypted and are as easy to use as a normal CD/DVD (except of course you have to know the password to use them).
• Support for Disk Images - CipherDisk can create and use disk images (also known as virtual volumes). Standard size images and dynamically resized images can be created simply. These disk images are a file on your disk until you "mount" them. Once mounted it operates as a normal disk.
• Support for AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) - In our continuing effort to integrate the latest technologies we have added AES to the encryption methods. This new method adds to the list of industry recognised encryption systems that were present in version 1.

System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.2 or higher

MacPay X 3.0.0b3 Swiss e-Banking App [OS 10.2 up]

MacPay X is a new application for Swiss banks and Postfinance customers. With MacPay X, you can pay all your bills and execute multiple financial transactions from the comfort of your Mac desktop. Output files are then uploaded to your bank or Postfinance via website.

With a tip of the hat to the AltaVista Babelfish translation engine:

To manage your expenditure? Nothing simpler with MacPay X

You want to know if you paid all your rents, your accounts of taxes? How much does this portable telephone cost you? Your mechanic? Or then if your expenditure of holidays is more important than those related to health? MacPay provides you all this information in two clicks to the maximum. Beyond its traditional functions of seizure of the payments, the new version of MacPay developed for OS X has functions of filings, sorting and research which no banking site online can equalize. All the more when you have several accounts. MacPay, it is the beginning of a better control of your expenditure and the first of your good resolutions for 2004.

The redevelopment complete one of MacPay under Cocoa, the privileged environment of Mac OS X, allows an integration pushed with the system. MacPay is an application of rising generation whose long-term development and enrichment are guaranteed by the enormous potential of Mac OS X.

This new version of MacPay is built on the basis of permanent dialogue and experience long gained with the development of former products with the users like with the banks and Postfinance. The current users of MacPay 2 can find in this new version the totality of their current data (accounts of flow, recipients, payments, groups, orders, etc).

To seize quickly, well and especially, quickly!

MacPay has an interface of seizure entièprement updated for all the types of payments existing in Switzerland including transactions IPI. Assistance with the seizure of the clearings and the postal numbers, all is there when the seizure of a manual transaction is inevitable, but MacPay also supports in a single way the optical character reading with MoneyPen and SwissReader: you scannez and it immediately finds the corresponding data of payment in your base of payments. For the majority of the software, you seek the payment initially, position your cursor in the corresponding field and scannez. In terms of speed, there is not photo.

But MacPay, it is especially an unequalled speed in the memorizing of a payment and, important thing, its later recall. In one or two clicks, you carry out the recall of a payment or a whole group of already recorded payments.

MacPay has from now on a function of filing full with resources: a function of powerful research but also of the done everything selections: all payments made to recipient A, with group X, by account Z or according to the hierarchy of the payment orders. The payments carried out can be thus consulted, found and also be exported towards an accountancy to avoid the double-seizure. Another advantage of the offline payments.

Principal functions
• Seizure of all the possible types of payments in Switzerland and abroad;
• Powerful assistances of seizure;
• Simultaneous flow several accounts for one or more financial establishments;
• Storage and instantaneous re-use of the recurring payments;
• Complete filing with advanced functions of research of the payments carried out;
• Export of the data towards various generic and countable formats;
• Files of transfer created to standards DTA and EZAG.
• Reduction for the customers of the banks partners;
• Offers of updates for the former and competitor products;
• Version of complete evaluation usable 30 days without restriction;

New in this version:
• This version is feature complete and a final candidate for GM status. Release date is set to March 26 th for download, CD will follow in the next days.

System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.2.x and 10.3.x

Toggle iPod Battery Status 1.0 Displays iPod Battery Status [OS X]

This is a tool to switch between the two options (including one hidden option) for iPod Battery Status display. Your two options are the default "Icon" view, showing a picture of the battery with the dark part filled to indicate how much current you have left. The other view is a "Numeric" view. It shows a number between 0 and ~500 to indicate your voltage. This software automatically detects which setting you are currently using and switches to the alternate method.

There are two ways to use the application. The first is to just double-click to launch it. Alternatively, you can run either the application or the compiled script by selecting it from the MacOSX Scripts Menu. To install them in the scripts menu, drop either the application, the compiled script or both on the "Drop on me!" folder. This folder is a Symbolic Link to your /Library/Scripts/ folder. If dropping them on it doesn't work, you may need to create the folder first. Go to the Library folder (Hit Shift-Apple-G on the keyboard. This brings up a dialog where you should type "/library" and click return.) Next start typing "scripts" on the keyboard. If your Scripts folder is not hilighted, then create a new folder (Shift-Apple-N) and name the new folder "Scripts." You may now drop the scripts in that folder or on the "Drop on me!" folder to install them in the menu.

Mac OS X
