Classic Menu for Panther 2.7.2 (10.3 compatibility) Released [OS X]

Sig Software has announced the release of version 2.7.2 of Classic Menu, its user interface enhancement for Mac OS X.

Without applying any patches or hacks, Classic Menu brings the Classic configurable Mac OS Apple Menu back to Mac OS X, replacing the system's built-in Apple Menu (but keeping it within easy reach).

Version 2.7.2 is a maintenance update which adds full compatibility with Apple's new OS X 10.3 (Panther). For those who have not yet upgraded, Classic Menu continues to be compatible with earlier versions of OS X too.

Classic Menu 2.7.2 is localized in English, French, German and Japanese and can be purchased in a value bundle with Drop Drawers X, another award winning utility.

Burn folder 1.0 Burns A Folder To A CD or DVD [OS 10.2 up]

The developer says:

Well, my dad got a new eMac and asked me for an easy way to burn a CD from a folder. So I created this small application. You just drop a folder on it, insert a CD-R or DVD-R, hit the Write button and your CD is burned.

Because of a bug with Mac OS X 10.3 in the Speed Test, currently no Speed Test is performed before burning is started. So burning may fail if the source folder can't deliver data fast enought. (e.g. with a folder from a network volume with a bad or low performance connection.)

• Resolved a bug that prevented some charts from displaying in the correct colors.

• The Chart Open panel can show more than one folder of charts. Suggest setting the "Folder" in the preferences to your highest level chart folder, then having subfolders for different regions. The "Auto Open" will also look for the best chart starting with the top folder specified in the preferences. If you just have one folder where the charts are then set the preferences folder to that folder.

• Double clicking on a waypoint name on the chart, selects it in the waypoint window. Double clicking while holding down the [command] key also adds it to the selected route.

So to quickly create routes

1) Create a new route in the route window

2) double-click w/[command key] on chart to create new waypoints that are also added to the selected route
