SHAPE Services Acquires iPhone Application List to Meet the Needs of Apple Users
iPhone Application List, built in June of 2007 by Steven Schopp from New York, has dramatically gained popularity and is now considered the most complete list of an ever growing number of widgets for iPhone.
With the acquisition of the site SHAPE Services is going to support and promote web services and iPhone ready sites of other developers. "Our aim is to provide the best possible user experience for iPhone/iPod Touch users," says Victoria Slinyavchook, Marketing Manager of the company. "With our list of valuable and stylish services users would be able to make the iPhone/iPod a Skype phone, a RSS reader or a game device in just a few seconds, and this is really possible!"
SHAPE Services, itself, has several web applications designed for iPhone, among them IM+ for Skype that enables Skype voice and text capabilities on both Apple's devices. Today the company releases an improved commercial version of this Skype Certified application.
"I look forward to working with Shape Services," says Steven Schopp, the former owner of the site. "I know that this partnership will be extremely profitable for both of us!" The number of unique visitors is headily increasing and is expected to double when a lot of Mobile Safari browser users visit the site from their new WiFi enabled iPod.
