RouteBuddy provides native Mac OS X support for Garmin, TomTom and NMEA GPS devices, and allows users to manage and display their GPS data using high-precision vector-based road maps.
This release addresses several compatibility issues with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, and improves performance during routing calculations.
Several crashing bugs have also been addressed, as well as an issue where preference changes may not have been saved.
RouteBuddy allows geo-data to be translated between a wide range of formats, and can import and export data as .loc, .gpx, .csv, .ov2, and .kml.
RouteBuddy 1.5 is available immediately, and a free demo can be downloaded from:

The RouteBuddy Application costs US$99.50, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Maps are available for a number of different countries, priced from US$39.50.
