RouteBuddy 1.4 GPS Software Released

1898 RouteBuddy Ltd. announce the release of RouteBuddy 1.3, a major update to their powerful GPS mapping program for Mac OS X.

RouteBuddy provides native Mac OS X support for Garmin and NMEA GPS devices, and allows users to manage and display their GPS data using high-precision vector-based road maps.

This release adds support for Garmin nüvi and z?mo devices, as well as beta support for several TomTom devices (including the popular "Go" and "Rider" models).

Data can now be imported or exported in a wide range of formats, including CSV or KML for use with Microsoft Excel or Google Earth.

Several crashing bugs have also been addressed, and an improved welcome screen has been added for first-time users.

The RouteBuddy Application costs US$99.50, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Maps are available for a number of different countries, priced from US$39.50.
