Feral Interactive concludes its work week with news Worms 3D, Republic: The Revolution and Enemy Engaged. One's shipping, one's coming soon, and one has a new programmer. Mix and match for maximum enjoyment.
Worms 3D is the one that's shipping. As the little pink fellas rush headlong into the cruel glare of publicity, seeking only retail glory, Feral celebrates their emergence with a Worms Blockbuster trailer.
Also, things are stirring in the Republic of Novistrana. Feral has received a news dispatch from their correspondent in the capital city of Berezina. After many months of hard toil, discontent among the brain workers known as "programmers" is close to boiling point. Their demand? "Ship the game!." But ah, their political education is just beginning. For further indoctrination in the ideology of this revolutionary game of political strategy, take a look at the Republic propaganda trailer and then proceed directly to the Republic minisite.
And finally, the Feral offices have been buzzing to the sounds of chopper blades in slo-mo for what feels like several yearsand so, they've decided to clear the air.
Enemy Engaged has been so long in development that, at times, it seemed to be computer gaming's proof of General Sherman's dictum "War is Hell." However, a bold new approach known as "changing the programmer" has paid off; Enemy Engaged is now flying. It really is coming soon, and Feral claims it should be worth the wait. To mark the progress, some screenshots from the latest build have been posted, and a first flash trailer for the game is now running. As usual, for more details check out the minisitea.
