Nisus Software today announced the immediate release of Nisus Writer Express 2.6, an update to the award winning multilingual word processor for Mac OS X.

Nisus Writer Express 2.6 adds new features such as an optional WYSIWYG font menu, smart to straight quote conversion and vice versa, document selection restoration when reopened, a preference to reopen the last set of documents when Express is launched, French and German localization, and more. These new features add to an already rich feature set packaged in a legendary user experience that won Nisus Writer Express "Best Overall Word Processor" in lab tests by MacUser UK.

Nisus Writer Express 2.6 is available now for only $69. Current Nisus Writer Express owners are able to upgrade to Express 2.6 for free.

Nisus Writer Express requires a G3 or higher Macintosh running Mac OS X v10.3 or later, and can be download from the Nisus website.
