3358 Motorola Inc. recently announced the availability of its award-winning Timbuktu Pro software (version 8.8) for Apples OSX Snow Leopard, reaffirming Motorolas almost 20-year commitment to the Apple operating system.

The Timbuktu Pro 8.8 is remote control software that enables consumers to securely control their desktop and laptop computers from any network or Internet connection letting users communicate, transfer files and access applications. Hardware Requirements:

Timbuktu Pro requires the same minimum hardware that is required by your Mac OS. In addition, you'll need:
• 15 MB of available disk space
• 128 MB of physical RAM
• A TCP/IP network connection or a modem
• For modem connections, a 56 Kbps or faster modem
• For the Intercom service, a microphone on each computer

Software Requirements:
• One copy of Timbuktu Pro software on each computer that is to make or receive Timbuktu Pro connections
• Timbuktu Pro 8.8 requires your Mac to be running Mac OS X 10.4 or later, including the new Mac OS X Snow Leopard
• Versions compatible with previous Mac operating systems including, Mac OS X 10.3 and Mac OS classic are available in the downloadable CD image

• Universal application for Intel and Power PC Macs
- Timbuktu Pro 8.7 runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macintoshes, delivering optimal performance for both architectures in a single package.
