Press release edited by Applelinks senior editor Kirk Hiner
Anyone remember a series of movies called Star Wars? They were all the rage in the late 70s and early 80s, and dedicedly less the rage in the 00s. But the games live on thanks to companies such as Feral Interactive, who have announced that LEGO Star Wars II is now shipping, and that a demo is available for immediate download.
After much hard work and repeated cryptic instructions from a small, green creature with mangled syntax, the demo emerged, blinking into the light. And just like the full game it runs, happy as an Ewok on Macbooks with integrated graphics cards.
Lego Star Wars II - shipping now
LSWII is winging its way to a store near you. The game was a smash hit on the PC and is now available to buy in all good Mac retailers or directly from the Feral webstore.
The game ships as a Universal Application; that is, it runs on both Intel and PPC machines. Even better, it runs perfectly on all MacBooks with integrated graphics cards. Phew! At last a decent game you can play on a MacBook. Find out more by visiting the LEGO Star Wars II minisite.
