Creating a great tour starts with a picture. Simply stand at a location or “point�, and use your digital camera to capture views of north, east, south, and west. Once you have captured several points, you are ready to use Mapwing Creator Pro. Use the Assets window to import and organize all of your tour’s digital media.
Building an interactive tour map is easy. The Map window provides tools for adding, resizing, and rotating a background image of a floor plan or map. Also, you can place location points over your background.
Every point has four image views associated with it. In the Point Manger window, you can quickly drop each image into its appropriate view, as well as add titles and comments. Then, use the Viewer window to review your completed point.
True virtual reality tours allow you to walk between points. Mapwing Creator Pro makes the process of connecting points easy through its powerful Connect mode. Simply select two points and choose the connection that they will share.
Enhance your tour by placing clickable hotspot regions over views. Hotpots can link to other points, websites, and detail photo close-ups.
When your tour is done, it's time to share it. Use Mapwing Creator Pro’s Export options to save your tour as a Mapwing Project (.flyp) or a fast-loading Mapwing Stream (.flys). You can send your tour to anyone having Mapwing Viewer, a free download. You can even embed your tour directly into a web page using Mapwing Flash Viewer, a server-side Flash/PHP application.
