MacSpeech has released a new ScriptPak for Microsoft PowerPoint 2004. The new ScriptPak installs over 200 commands into iListen that allows the user to do virtually anything in PowerPoint 2004 that they would normally do using keyboard shortcuts or menus.
"This will be a real timesaver for anyone who uses iListen with PowerPoint," said MacSpeech Chief Evangelist Chuck Rogers. "This set of commands allows almost total control of PowerPoint through speech, including the ability to control slide shows with one's voice."
The ScriptPak for Microsoft PowerPoint 2004 is available immediately from the MacSpeech web site and sells for $19. iListen 1.6.5 or later is required to use the new ScriptPak.
ScriptPaks work with MacSpeech's flagship product, iListen, whose TalkAnywhere technology allows users to dictate anywhere they would normally type. ScriptPaks enhance iListen's Command & Control capabilities by teaching it about the individual keyboard and menu commands in a specific program. ScriptPaks only affect iListen's ability to control an application and are not required for dictation.
MacSpeech offers several iListen packages, including a software only solution for $99, and a software and headset with microphone for $149.
MacSpeech is a Mac-only company dedicated to producing speech products for Macintosh.
