The President of MacPractice, Mark Hollis, describes the iPhone software within the context of the company's competitive advantage by stating, "This summer we are committed to delivering patient registration, patient encounter entry, appointment requests, and the doctor's schedule on Apple's new iPhone in addition to desktop, portable and tablet computers. Last month MacPractice also announced MacPractice EMR, MacPractice Imaging, and MacPractice Tooth Chart, all to be released in 2007, along with interfaces to many more third party clinical and accounting products.
1,700 doctors' offices have chosen MacPractice to provide their practice management software and technical support. MacPractice, Inc. also supports the use of DentalMac, MediMac, and ChiroMac by several hundred offices.
