MacEase has announced the release of PrintMagic 4.0 for OS X. The highly rated PrintMagic utility has been completely rewritten to provide even better performance, new features and an improved interface.
PrintMagic is a powerful tool that gives users instant control over the information that they print. With PrintMagic, users can print just the selected information (either text or images ) that they want, even in programs that can't always print their own data. And PrintMagic is very easy to use; users just select the material they want to print and then can use a system-wide keyboard shortcut PrintMagic adds to OS X, click a button, or drag-and-drop their selections to print them. With PrintMagic, users don't waste time, ink/toner, and paper printing unnecessary data.
PrintMagic also lets users create on-the-fly print projects, instantly collecting any number of selections of text/images from any number of sources and place them on PrintMagic's PrintBoard where they can save them, edit them, or print them. (The PrintBoard is a great tool when doing research and for combining non-contiguous selections of data.)
The tools PrintMagic adds to OS X work with virtually all OS X applications, stay out of the user's way, and are designed always to be just a single mouse click or keyboard shortcut away. PrintMagic offers users several customizable interface options so they can use PrintMagic in the ways that are most comfortable to them and best fits the ways they work.
Additionally, PrintMagic adds a Desktop Printer to OS X that both supports drag-and-drop printing of either text or images and instantly can print the contents of the Clipboard. Users also can print clipping files by dropping them onto the Desktop Printer. PrintMagic's Desktop Printer is designed to work with virtually all printers, so users don't need to configure anything when they use PrintMagic either with one or with multiple printers.
PrintMagic includes many additional productivity-enhancing features, such as letting users add time-date stamps, a URL stamp, and notes of any length to anything they print (including images).
The cost savings, productivity enhancements, and environmental benefits provided by using PrintMagic are multiplied for schools, businesses, and other organizations that use many computers. (Special site license pricing is available.)
