1406 ultimedia group The Daily Grind Network has unveiled MacATM, a universal binary realtime automatic teller simulator.

"Mac OS X users have previously laboured under the platform's lack of a comprehensive ATM simulation solution," Daily Grind President-for-Life Joe Stella explained, "we come as liberators."

A must-have for ATM enthusiasts, MacATM is a universal binary optimized for PPC and Intel Macs requiring Mac OS 10.3 or better. It has been released under a Freeware license.

"Install MacATM on your laptop and enjoy the excitement and immersion of an ATM on the move or at home. You need never again ram-raid a shopping centre or take a tow-truck to the bank," Daily Grind Vice-President for ATM Simulations Damian Prendergast advised.

Mr Prendergast sought to downplay reports MacATM could erase your hard drive or start fires in your power supply.
