Also for users, which don't need a balance sheet an accounting program may be useful. Programs, which support only the recording of incomes and expenses, can show only the actual value. In many cases it is however necessary to include also future movements (e.g. paying by credit card).
Accounting is in each company a very sensitive matter. On the one side it must fulfill legal conditions. On the other hand an accounting program should be very easy to use. Because my wife is an accounting, she looks extremely to the first point. My part is to look, that also non-accountants can use it. The switch to another accounting program needs much time. So it is very important, that you can use the new program for a long time. Because our program is highly configurable by the user (account structure, tax keys…) you can use it without updates for a long time. Nevertheless we offer regularly updates (usually free of charge). Sometimes it is not easy to find the right solution to give both parts the best. But the success of Mac-HaBu shows me that we found a good way. Also various reports in all important technical periodicals confirm this (c't, Macwelt, MacUp, maclife, PCGo c't...).
The development of Mac-HaBu started in the year 1992 for our own, private accounting. In the year 1995 we released the first public version for the Macintosh. Starting from this time Mac-HaBu moved from a program for personal use to a "professional" accounting program. In the year 2003 we introduced a special version for Windows (Win-HaBu) and in 2005 we integrated an invoice module (offer / invoice). And from the year 2006 we support also Linux (Lin-HaBu). With this version we support now all major operating systems. Of course you can use the data alternately on all operating systems.

- With this function you administer your working time and create invoices very easy.
- Reminder position on the invoice
- You can add additional positions for reminders in the invoice.
- New article type "Notice"
- With this article type, you can add additional information into the offer and invoice.
- Calculation basis for articles
- While creating articles you can decide the price basis. With this, you reduce problems while calculating the gross price from the net price.
