However, in the meantime, as a completely separate side project Logos had some developers whip out a quick widget to help you quickly look up the text of any Bible reference you come across. Simply type or cut and paste any Bible reference into the Logos Bible Widget and instantly see the full text of that verse.
Easier than grabbing your Bible off the shelf, faster than going to Bible Gateway, and it's free,
At 1.5 MB for the compressed file is a reasonably quick download, even on dialup. Once installed, which takes a few seconds, the Logos Bible Widget appears on your dashboard. It's pretty large as widgets go, and used up a fair bit of space even on my sparsely populated 17" PowerBook's Dashboard, so if you have a lot of widgets, you may have to move some stuff around.

Logos Bible Widget is simplicity itself to use. Just type in a chapter and verse reference and the text (King James Version) will appear virtually instantly.

There are also navigation buttons to jump to the next or previous verses or chapters.
That's pretty much it. This one's a keeper for me, and I expect I'll use it often.
