JBL, designer, manufacturer and marketer of a wide range of high-fidelity loudspeakers for home and car, and of multimedia speaker systems for MP3 players and computers, is proud to debut JBL On Stage Micro and JBL Radial Micro. The latest additions to JBL's line of high-performance iPod docking speakers or "stations", both systems pack the familiar style and sound of their larger siblings, JBL On Stage II and JBL Radial. JBL On Stage Micro and JBL Radial Micro deliver powerful, crisp sound from a unique, compact device. Both come equipped with IR remotes for iPod track selection, menu navigation and volume control. Lightweight and extreme space savers, JBL On Stage Micro and JBL Radial Micro will produce rich sound at-home, the-office or outdoors.

The JBL On Stage Micro is a portable iPod docking sound system ready to go anywhere and fits into the palm of a hand. A smaller version of the popular JBL On Stage II, JBL On Stage Micro is great for travel; it can easily be stored in a briefcase, purse, or book bag, with plenty of room to spare. Equipped with two Odyssey transducers and an IR remote, JBL On Stage Micro delivers amazing bass and clear sound with unparalleled ease of use. Powered by an AC adapter or four AAA batteries that will provide up to 24 hours of continuous play, JBL On Stage Micro is the ultimate portable iPod docking sound system.

JBL Radial Micro incorporates superior sound, design and functionality in a small package. Weighing in at one pound and sporting a footprint of only 6 inches by 1 3/4 inches, JBL Radial Micro is compact enough to be placed on a desktop, counter or night stand. Featuring four Odyssey transducers perfectly positioned around a stylish arc, JBL Radial Micro will fill any room with amazing, crisp sound. JBL Radial Micro is the perfect way for consumers to turn an iPod into a serious sound machine.

Both JBL On Stage Micro and JBL Radial Micro are compatible with all docking iPods, and incorporate the Apple iPod Universal Dock adapter. Featuring OnePoint design, both units connect with a USB 2.0 cable to synchronize the iPod that's being charged in a dock with a Mac or PC. Both JBL On Stage Micro and JBL Radial Micro remember their last volume setting, have touch volume and mute controls and include IR remotes, which make adjusting the volume or browsing the iPod menu a breeze. The units have a built-in mini stereo jack and additional cables for connecting to other digital music player devices, CD players, gaming devices, laptops and desktop computers.
"JBL On Stage Micro is the latest product from JBL to address the needs of the on-the-go music lover," said Fred Faulkner, Harman Multimedia's vice president sales and marketing.
