iTunes 4.8 selling videos

560 Tip o' the hat to Slashdot for pointing out the iTunes Music Store is selling music videos with the purchase of certain "albums:"

The videos are provided in DRM-less .mp4 format encoded in 3ivx D4 4.5 and are available with purchase of the album.

Note that the definition of "album" is kind of weak. The Gorillaz have four videos available with the purchase of the single of Feel Good Inc.

And talk about a quiet rollout! So far, no mention at the iTMS, or even a press release from Apple. Expect this to change shortly. Also expect that in 10 years, Apple will stop selling music videos and focus exclusively on reality shows featuring idiot twentysomethings who overreact to everything their roommates say, and get angry about things it later turns out they imagined.

Bill's been using Macs since the late 80s. When he's not making smartass remarks to amuse Kirk Hiner, he enjoys fighting for the user.
