iPhone User Behavior and Satisfaction Accessing Mobile Web Sites Can Now Be Closely Measured

130
Keynote Systems, a leader in on-demand mobile and Internet test & measurement solutions for continuously improving the online experience, has announced the first and only product on the market to run large-scale, task-based mobile Web usability studies of iPhone customers interacting with the mobile Web. Leveraging Keynote's on-demand WebEffective user experience research tool, researchers now have access to invaluable data revealing the motivations, perceptions and behavior patterns of iPhone users.

"What makes WebEffective unique is that we can recruit respondents from across a large geographic area and gather data points on how users navigate through a process using their own device and in their own natural environment," said Robert Hale, senior usability specialist at Resource Interactive. "Extending the distinctive features and benefits of WebEffective to support the iPhone is a move that reflects Keynote's ability to identify their client's needs, and deliver solutions that are innovative and effective."

WebEffective is the market-leading, online research tool providing Web marketers, researchers and advertisers a customer experience and usability lab without walls. Unlike simple survey products, WebEffective tracks user behavior as the participant completes assigned tasks. Providing insights to their Web site effectiveness and online business performance through in-depth customer experience research, WebEffective combines the behavioral aspects of clickstream analysis, the quantitative data of surveys, and the qualitative feedback of usability labs to not only understand what their customers are doing on the mobile Web, but also why.

"The iPhone is a breakthrough device that is driving a new generation of mobile Web enthusiasts seeking fast, easily accessible Internet access and breathing new life into the opportunities and potential of the mobile Web," said Dan Richards, senior product manager at Keynote. "As more people leverage the flexibility and convenience of the mobile Internet, Web site operators and software developers are facing increased pressure to ensure ease-of-use and a positive end-user experience. There's no time for product experimentation; those that don't deliver will be left behind."

iPhone support will be available on May 19, 2008. For more information on Keynote WebEffective, visit:
