iKana is built up of six modules which aim to help anyone learn the Japanese phonetic alphabets of Hiragana and Katakana, improve reading speed and expand their vocabulary of Japanese words.
iKana 1.6 includes innovative features such as a new full-screen interface ideal for use with big screen TVs and projectors - perfectly suited for use in classrooms and lecture theatres. Like most aspects of iKana, the Apple infrared remote control can be used to interact with the interface without the need to use a keyboard or mouse.
ThinkMac has also refreshed the entire iKana interface so it looks great in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, while continuing to provide the easiest and friendliest way to learn Japanese on the Mac platform.
