iGame Radio Chats with Winners of OMG 2005

784 Press Release Edited By Applelinks Contributing Editor Charles W. Moore

On tonight's broadcast of iGame Radio, the original Mac game radio program, host Omaha Sternberg and guest co-host Kevin Murphy chat with Will Hogben and Stephen Johnson, winners of the OMG 2005 contest.

Will and Stephen developed Escort Wing ( http://www.idevgames.com/contest/downloads/details.php?file=26 ), a flight shooter with modding capabilities. The game won the first place prize of the Original Mac Games (OMG) 2005 contest, which includes a contract with Freeverse Software to turn the game into a commercial product.

Omaha and Kevin will also offer Mac gaming news, reviews, commentary, and giveaways, and together with their guests will take questions live from listeners in the iGame Radio chat room (AIM/iChat room name "iGameRadio") and on the air (using the VoIP software Skype; see the rules regarding this method on the iGame Radio home page).

iGame Radio can be heard live on MacRadio from 6 to 7:30 pm Pacific Time, 9 to 10:30 pm Eastern (Tuesday from 0200 to 0330 UTC), and on demand thereafter. Listeners can tune in at the iGame Radio web page ( http://www.macradio.com/igameradio/ ), where they'll also find archives of past broadcasts. QuickTime 5 or above and a 28 kbps or faster Internet connection are required for the live broadcast; QuickTime 5 and above, or iTunes 4.9 or other MP3 enabled software (such as iPodderX), are required for access to the archives.
