iGame Radio Broadcasts Holiday Games Blast For Listener Enjoyment

1105 Press Release Edited By Applelinks Contributing Editor Charles W. Moore

To celebrate the holiday season, iGame Radio, the original Mac game radio program, will air a special broadcast…the Holiday Games Blast. Sponsored by Feral Interactive and including interviews with favorite Mac game industry guests, fabulous prizes, and a great site full of special game goodies, the show will broadcast on Thursday, December 29th (Friday, December 30th for our listeners in UTC time). And, for the first time, listeners get to ask the guests their questions live.

Featured guests will include Glenda Adams of Aspyr Media, David Stephen of Feral Interactive, Jeff Vogel of Spiderweb Software, and Bruce Harrison of Freeverse Software. Recent changes to the broadcasting methods for the program have allowed show host Omaha Sternberg to take individual listener calls for this show. Using the VoIP software program Skype, listeners can call into the show (using the method specified on the iGame Radio webpage) and ask their favorite guest their question.

The iGame Radio game press page will feature tons of game trailers for games just released or on their way to gold status. There will also be screenshots, avatars, and other goodies for listeners to enjoy while listening to the broadcast. Prizes include game giveaways from Feral Interactive, and t-shirts and other merchandise from the new iGame Radio online store.

This special broadcast will air live on MacRadio on December 29 from 5 to 7 pm Pacific Standard Time (8 to 10 pm Eastern Standard Time; December 30 from 0100 to 0300 UTC). iGame Radio can regularly be heard live on MacRadio from 6 to 7:30 pm Pacific Time, 9 to 10:30 pm Eastern (Tuesday from 0200 to 0330 UTC), and on demand thereafter. Listeners can tune in at the iGame Radio web page , where they'll also find archives of past broadcasts of iGame Radio. QuickTime 5 or above and a 28 kbps or faster Internet connection are required for the live broadcast; QuickTime 5 and above, or iTunes 4.9 or other MP3 enabled software (such as iPodderX), are required for access to the archives.
