HighLoad is a tool which will push your computer to the max to help diagnose intermittent Mac OS problems. Let it run in the background until a fault is encountered, then check the log files for any inconsistant results. This tool meant for IT professionals needing to time-test a machine. The application will not diagnose the machine for you, you must gather info from the log files and develop a conclusion.
New in version 1.6:
Ability to test available Memory Testing using memtest.
HighLoad will temporarily disable the Screen Saver and Energy Saver features while active.
Now also logs HighLoad events to system.log.
Version 1.5 adds:
Timer
Notes
Documentation
Load Averages
System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
System Support:
PPC/Intel
