Granite Digital, a leading manufacturer of SATA, FireWire, and SCSI storage solutions, today announced it has begun shipping a SATA Dual Drive Internal Mounting Kit for the G5 Apple Macintosh capable of addressing 1.5 Terabytes in either JBOD, RAID 1, or RAID 0 configurations. Support for both the older (PCI) model G5 and the newer (PCI-e) is provided in two separate models. All SATA I and II drive mechanisms are supported at speeds up to 300MB/s per channel.
The kit includes: SATA PCI or PCI-e 2 Channel Host Adapter, Driver CD, 2 internal SATA Data cables, SATA power cable, Aluminum Mounting Bracket, Screws, and a Color Installation Manual.

Other models of the SATA Dual Drive Internal Mounting Kits include hard drive mechanisms with capacities of up to 750GB each. Apple RAID 0 and 1 are completely supported.
