• How Golden Records Connects


• For a cassette deck connect the deck to the audio line input of your computer. You probably have a lead with your cassette deck but if not they are available at local electronics stores.

For a record player, If your turntable has an external or built-in pre-amplifier connect its output to the line input of the computer. If you do not have a pre-amplifier connect to the microphone input instead and check the phono RIAA eq option. Alternatively use a USB turntable which connects directly to a USB port.
