Freeze Frame 1.1.2 Freezes Open Applications So They Use No CPU Cycles
Of course, by that point, Mail has already done some damage. Wouldn't it be nice if you could prevent it from happening at all? You can, with Freeze Frame's "Focus Freeze" feature, available only to registered users. Focus Freeze allows you to freeze all applications but the frontmost one, leaving all the processor cycles for that one app, and preventing any other apps from hijacking that app's progress.
New in version 1.1.2:
Fixed code that did nothing in Tiger, but caused visual defect in Leopard.
Now using a "true" HUD window for initial update in Leopard
System requirements:
Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
System support:
PPC/Intel
$14.95 Shareware ($13.45 through December)
